Rescue By Design is founded on a core conviction:  that rescue dogs deserve to be seen far more widely - and, seen differently.

 

Because of resource pressures, rescue is too often invisible.  When it is visible, it is most often framed through need, urgency, and loss.

 

But rescues are extraordinary animals:  beautiful, individual, and deeply varied.  From quiet to boisterous; from joyful to reflective; from young to old. From needing nurturing to being ready to nurture.  From purebred to containing bits of many breeds.  

 

They are, in other words, as unique and interesting and unexpected as we are. 

 

They deserve to be seen that way - by millions more, who can bring them into their lives.

Rescue By Design's innovation is a different way to make rescue dogs visible and desirable: through through partnerships with design-led lifestyle brands, to bring rescue into their products, stories, stores, and cultures. 

 

By doing so, brands can introduce rescue to millions who otherwise would never see or consider it. 

 

And, they can create a new lens through which rescue can be seen:  as part of lifestyles defined by beauty and aspiration:  showing rescues' promise, in that setting, as adding depth, presene, and joy.  fascinating, loyal companions.  

 

Rescues are a different choice.  Not only life saving: life affirming.
